ERIC SASS

Eric Sass is now retired following a career spanning more than four decades in leadership and public broadcasting. He spent more than 30 years with PBS before joining Healthy Companies International, where he worked for 10 years. Throughout his career, Eric brought extensive experience in organizational leadership, communications, and the media sector. In retirement, he enjoys spending as much time as possible sailing along the Maine coast and beyond.

MARIBETH CARROLL

Maribeth Carroll is an experienced human capital advisor who has worked closely with executive management teams to develop and implement strategies that align people and organizational priorities with broader business goals. Her expertise includes navigating complex business challenges, building strong relationships, assessing organizational dynamics, and leading organizational change.

Throughout her career, Maribeth has also developed extensive experience in senior-level talent acquisition and complex negotiations. Known for a thoughtful and strategic approach, she has helped organizations strengthen leadership teams, address evolving workforce needs, and successfully manage periods of change.

KARYN TRADER-LEIGH

An executive coach and international development professional with decades of experience, Karyn Trader-Leigh has built a career focused on leadership development, capacity building, and organizational effectiveness. Her work spans the private sector, nonprofit organizations, education systems, and government, with expertise in executive coaching, inclusive practices and equity, strategic partnerships, development funding, and grant writing. She has also supported international coach certification and leadership training through organizations including Lambent, Integral Coaching Canada, and ACM.

Karyn’s international studies have taken her across Europe and Asia, with coursework and programs focused on economic reform and trade development in China, multilateral institutions at the United Nations in Vienna, emerging economies in Hungary, European manufacturing strategies in Germany, and European integration. This international perspective has informed a career dedicated to strengthening leaders, organizations, and partnerships across sectors and cultures.

MATT HILL

A 20+ year veteran of the sports industry, Matt Hill is Founder and Principle at Hilltop Advisors, LLC. Prior to that, Matt served as the CEO and Co-Founder of tech startup SPAT Media, Inc., until the company’s acquisition in September 2025. Before his startup journey, Matt led the NY office of GMR Marketing, a leading experiential and sponsorship marketing agency. He started his career in PR/Communications at the NFL and later returned to the NFL as Director of Sponsorship Business Development. Between stints at the NFL, Matt served as Business Development Manager at Major League Soccer.

Matt received his BA from Columbia College in 2001 and his MBA from Columbia Business School in 2009. He served on the board of Global Camps Africa from 2008-2020, and he now serves as Vice Chairman of the board at sport-for-development non-profit, love.futbol. Matt resides in Brooklyn, NY, with his wife and two kids.

DAVID NATHAN

David Nathan is a partner at the law firm of Levin & Glasser, PC. He is president emeritus of Congregation Shearith Israel, the Spanish and Portuguese Synagogue, where he also serves as a trustee. He has previously served as a trustee of the Abraham Joshua Heschel School and as a fellow of the Wexner Heritage Foundation. David lives with his wife, Rebecca, in New York, where they raised four children. David first met Global Camps Africa’s founder and president, Phil Lilienthal, in 1974, when he worked as a counselor at Phil’s camp, Camp Winnebago, in Maine.
